In sending in the preview for St X, I neglected to mention Oxnard for his HUGE contribution to the project. Truth be known, I could not have done it without his help, and he was left out in the credit for writing it. He suggested that the credit go to "The Team of Oxnard and PurpleHaze of BluegrassPreps.com" and it would have been great (not to mention a small harmless plug for our Family on BGP!!), but it was too late and it had already been sent to print and couldn't be changed.

I have never had to deal with this before last year. Before then, the previews were simply printed in the program and that was that...everything was anonymous. You will notice that Coach Bill Cox was given credit for the Warren Central preview because he went above and beyond the call of duty and actually wrote the preview! I added an addendum to it and took credit for the addendum. But his was so good that I only had to clean up a couple of items.

In mentioning the St X preview to folks here, I almost never fail to mention how great Oxnard is in helping us with the St X information. Ask Mrs PH if you want confirmation! Truth be known, Ox has been an absolute joy to work with and his info has been awesome! I just wanted everybody to know that and hope that I'm still in good standing with Tiger Nation, as I'm still making a lot of great friends from the St X camp and I hope that this will continue! I hope that this will continue someday...it's been fun and a great experience working with Ox on the St X previews this year and last year!

Thanx, gang! See you one week from Saturday!!

In my time here on the board I have enjoyed reading what OX has to say. Seems to really be up on things and generally 'on point' with what input he provides.

Not to change the subject but, do you have an injury update for next weeks game?? How's your QB and center??

As for X, a few kids banged up from 2-a-days and the first scrimmage but right now looks like only starting O-guard Ott may miss the BG game. Duece got his cast off but not sure if he will be ready to go next week.
