Holmes 58 Campbell County 51

Featured Replies

Thought this would be an great game and it was. Camels got off to a very good start as Holmes could not make a lay up or keep, from throwing the ball over some ones head. Tied at the half, Holmes came out strong to start the half, Holmes builds a ten point lead late in the fourth. Give the Lady Camels a lot of credit, they never stopped fighting and cut it to 3 points with about two minutes to go. Holmes guards are just so quick, at times to quick. Very impressed with number 10 of Campbell Co, the young lady can shoot, dribble and defend. Campbell County is very well coached as they run a lot of sets. Best of luck to both teams. Two. Very, very good teams.

Hats off to Holmes they played hard from start to finish. They are a very fast team and get down the floor. The Lady Camels came out strong in the first qtr and then cooled off. Game was tied at halftime. Lady Camels started the second half with 5 straight turnovers, Lady Dogs struggled with putting the ball in goal which kept the score close until late in the fourth qtr when the Lady Dogs pushed the lead out by 12 with 2 minutes to go in the game. The Lady Camels jumped into their full court press with 2 minutes to go to force some turnovers and quick baskets to close the gap to 3 which was as close as it got and then it turned into a free throw contest at both ends of floor. These 2 teams get after it and they are both fun to watch. Congrats to the Lady Dogs on their victory tonight! Good luck to both teams for the rest of th season.

3 point game with 56 seconds left. Hard fought game by both teams.
