Big win tonight for DC. This was Meade's first loss inside the 3rd region. Per usual, Stewart Currie was the difference. He is starting to be more of a presence on the defensive end of the floor. He altered several Meade shots around the basket. The Waves were without leading scorer Josh Durbin for most of the 4th quarter, due to what looked to be a broken nose. Andrew Hayden continues to hit big shots for the Panthers. He finished with 5 3 point buckets and 15 points. DC seems to be peaking at the right time. Coach Hayden is getting solid contributions from several sophomores off the bench. IMO, they have the best player AND the deepest bench in the region.

Currie finished with 20, 20 and 5. This was his 4th 20 plus rebound game of the season. Dude is an All-State candidate.
