MLB Top 100 Prospects

Featured Replies

MLB.com reveals their spring rankings tonight at 9 pm.

They've been releasing their top 10 by position over the past week or so.

They've also released their Top 50 draft prospects, which can be found here.

Reds related rankings...

Tyler Stephenson is the #5 ranked catching prospect.

Jose Peraza is #2 at 2B, while Alex Blandino is the #5 ranked 2B prospect.

Jesse Winker is now the #10 rated OF prospect.

Robert Stephenson is the #7 rated RHP prospect.

Cody Reed is the #7 ranked LHP prospect, while Amir Garrett rounds out the Reds as the #9 ranked LHP prospect.

I think we'll see anywhere from 6-8 Reds in the top 100 list when it's revealed tonight.

The Cubs have...

#1 Catcher -Wilson Contreras

#3 2B- Ian Happ

#7 3B- Jeimer Candelario

#9 SS- Gleyber Torres

Even with all those prospects making it to the big league roster last year, the Cubs still have one of the best farm systems. God Bless Theo :D

Reds had 5 in the top 100

Cubs had 6

Cardinals had 2

Pirates had 4

Brewers had 5

As a Reds fan, the two Cards guys will be HOF'ers and our guys will get over paid long term player friendly contracts that put us back into a rebuild 8 years from now.
