What a ugly game and hard to watch. Missed layups., shots and turnovers. I do want to say that #00 helped a lot of putting Bourbon Co back into the game. He played hard. James Cornelius and Anderson got into early foul trouble and had to sit some, which hurt the Cards. Probably the worst game I have seen them play all year. GRC blew around a 15 point lead in the first half. Bourbon blew a 8 point lead in the 2nd half. Scores by quarters 1st GRC 23 BC 12. Halftime GRC 36 BC 34, 3rd Q BC 54 GRC 51 and final score 79 -72.

 

Hopefully GRC Reporter can give us some more stats.

Bourbon County led 12-8 before GRC went on a 15-0 run to end the first quarter leading 23-12. GRC led 34-19 in the 2nd quarter before Bourbon County went on a 15-2 run to trail GRC by only 2 at halftime at 36-34. This run continued into the 3rd quarter for another 20-10 spurt by Bourbon County. This was a combined 35-12 run for the Colonels which made the score 54-46 in favor of Bourbon County near the end of the 3rd quarter. This is when GRC went on a 33-18 run to finish the game and win 79-72.

The Colonels just keep inching closer. Love how they continue to play competitively
