5th Region Rankings (1-3-16)

 

1. North Hardin (12-4)- North Hardin played in the Lake Cumberland Holiday Classic this past week, and won 3 out of their 5 games. Then picked up a win over Montgomery County in The Bluegrass Cellular Classic @ Central Hardin. Up next for North Hardin will be a game against Central Hardin on January 5th.

 

2. Taylor Co. (5-5)- Taylor Co. played in the Arby's Classic in Tennessee this past week against out of state teams, and countries. They would go 1-2, then they lost to Covington Catholic on Saturday in a surprising blowout. Up next for the Cardinals will be a game @ Campbellsville on January 8th.

 

3. Bardstown (7-4)- Bardstown played in the Wes Unseld Classic this past week @ Seneca. They would go 2-1 in the tournament. Then picked up a solid win over Warren Central on Saturday. Next up for them will be a game against Washington Co. on January 5th.

 

4. Adair Co. (12-3)- Adair competed in the Larue County Holiday Classic this past week, losing the first game to Daviess County but then picking up wins over Greenwood, and Trimble County. They will next play Thomas Nelson on Tuesday.

 

5. Central Hardin (11-2)- Central Hardin continued their hot streak this week as they won all 3 games in the Campbellsville Holiday Classic, then defeating Monroe Co. on Saturday in their own Bluegrass Cellular Classic. Up next for the Bruins will be a district game against North Hardin on Tuesday.

 

6. Green Co. (8-4)- Green County competed in the Campbellsville Holiday Classic this past week winning the first 2 games but then losing to Central Hardin in the championship game. Their next game will be a district contest against Hart Co. on Tuesday.

 

7. John Hardin (6-7)- John Hardin had a tough week as they went 1-2 in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic @ Lexington Catholic. Their only win was against Murray. Then losing big to South Oldham on Saturday. They will play Christian Academy of Louisville on Monday.

 

8. Caverna (6-8)- Caverna played in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic @ Lexington Catholic this past week going 2-2. They will next host Bethlehem on Tuesday .

 

9. Campbellsville (6-7)- Campbellsville went 1-2 in their own Holiday Classic this past week, but would pick up a big district victory over Marion Co. on Saturday Night. They will next play Larue County on Tuesday Night.

 

10. Larue Co. (6-5)- Larue Co. won 2 out of 3 in their own Holiday Classic this past week losing to North Bullitt in the Championship game. They will next play Campbellsville on Tuesday.

 

11. Nelson Co. (6-7)- Nelson Co. lost all 3 games in their Holiday Classic this past week but did pick up a win over Thomas Nelson on Saturday. They will next play Spencer Co. on Tuesday.

 

12. Bethlehem (4-4)- Bethlehem was off this past week and will resume action on Tuesday as they travel to Caverna.

 

13. Marion Co. (4-11)- Marion Co. competed in the Campbellsville Holiday Classic this past week going 1-2. Then they lost a district game to Campbellsville on Saturday. Next they will play Sayre on January 8th.

 

14. Washington Co. (3-7)- Washington Co. only played one game this week getting a win over St. Patrick. They will host Bardstown in a district game on Tuesday.

 

15. Elizabethtown (1-7)- Etown continued their struggles this week losing all 3 games @ Eastern's tournament, then losing to Southern on Saturday. They will next play Central Hardin on January 8th.

 

16. Hart Co. (1-8)- Hart Co. was off this past week and will resume play with a district game against Green Co. on Tuesday.

 

17. Fort Knox (1-7)- Fort Knox was off this past week and will play Trinity (Whitesville) on Tuesday.

 

18. Thomas Nelson (0-14)- Thomas Nelson has still yet to win a game as they lost to Butler Co. and Nelson Co. this past week. They will travel to Adair Co. on Tuesday.
