Mason County 66 St. Henry 44

Featured Replies

Mason dominates third qtr 26-2 and cruises through 4th for a 16 pt win. Showdown at the field house with Montgomery tomorrow at 8:00. Winner will be clear #2 in 10th ratings this week. IMO

Biggest change in second half was Sweeny went inside and got 8 of his 10 rebounds. St. Henry smalls lost their board advantage and a 26-2 3rd qtr run was on. Major note is Mason's D is disruptive. Pig Williams held Goetz to ZERO points and Wallenhorst got in foul trouble and only produced 5. Combination of top Crusaders scorers only producing 5 tells you a lot. Don't think this was an accident.

Sweeney looked really good, not just rebounds, but some great moves in the paint!!

BGP members hear me....if you want to see a potentially super game, the Championship game between Mason and Montgomery has all the makings of a good one. There could be a lot of clarity as to who is both #2 and #3 in the 10th this next week. Campbell and Scott are negatively messing with us.

From radio driving home heard Mason's Sweeny 15; Garrison 14; A. Williams 11; and D. Williams 10. Don't remember anything else on St. Henry other then Goetz 0; and Wallenhorst 5.
