Creepy Kids' Shows

Featured Replies

Was talking to a friend about looking back at childhood tv/movies.

The Wizard of Oz scared me when I was a kid. I didn't realize how creepy that movie was until I was older watching it with my young children.

Same for the puppets on the Mr. Rogers show. King Friday and Queen whatever. Totally creeped me out.

Agree completely on the Wizard of Oz – still creeps me out, family knows it is not permitted to be on when I’m around.

When I was a kid I liked the Wizard of Oz movie except I was skeeered of those flying monkeys. They looked spookier in black and white those days.
