North Carolina State 65 South Florida 46

Featured Replies

Possibly the worst college basketball game I've ever seen, and I was "lucky" to have floor seating for it. :bag:

NC State shot only 36% from field goal range, 14% from 3, 57% from the charity stripe, and still won by almost 20. They were up by 28 at one point.

With a little under 12 minutes to go in the game, USF had only scored 19 points and was 7 of 42, yeah that's right, 16% from the field. Jaleel Cousins missed a wide open dunk. It was horrible to watch.

Los Toros finally caught some heat and closed the lead to 15, but could not get any closer. They ended the game shooting 29%.

I exchanged greetings with Coach O in the hall outside the Hardwood Club before the women's game, earlier in the day. Dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, he looks to have lost a significant amount of weight. Stress, I guess.

I can't see how USF can be anything but the doormat of the conference this year.

Olé!!

Things just went from bad to worse for the USF basketball program. Roddy Peters, who had been battling back problems all year, fractured his left foot during this game and will be out indefinitely. That leaves the Bulls with no true point guard. Jamal McMurray, really a 2 guard, will have to run the offense. Jake Bodway who missed the last game with a concussion, will be backing him up.

I feel for Coach O. This could get really ugly.
