With the playoffs starting this weekend I thought we'd take a look at some playoff historical facts about teams in Class 3A. We'll do something similar each week of the postseason. This week we are looking at first round records for all teams in the class. As a reminder, due to the lack of uniformity of the postseason during some of the early years, first round games include only games played earlier than the regional finals (typically in years with more than eight teams in a class making the playoffs).

Example: In 1967, Bardstown beat Garrard County in the first GAME of the playoffs, but it was the regional championship game. The records, therefore, are not included here but rather will appear in the regional final records in two weeks.
