Game one at The Fieldhouse, Deming vs, Lewis County, The Lady Devils jumps out to a 10 point lead in the first half, lighten it up from behind the arc, but Lewis County hung in there and came back to win the game in the 2nd half by 7.

Game two was at Straub Middle School Gym. Deming vs. Ashland once again the Lady Devils had the lead by 4pts. only to lose by the final horn by 2.

Game 3 at the Maysville Gym downtown, Deming vs. Bracken County, Lady Bears from Brooksville lead most of the game but the lady devils comeback in the final minute to win 33-32.

I'm usually not critical of my ol' school, but unless someone on the Lady Devil squad steps up and decides to be a leader this could be a long season for the Lady Devils. Thru all three games in the beginning every seems to be clicking and then they start being lazy on defense, rebounding, and not moving on the floor, then allowing their opponents getting 2nd, 3rd, shots off from rebounding is what's killing them. Good to see Sonya Fithen back with the team, she was a little rusty after taken a break from last year.

Just a question were is the AC in the fieldhouse, man it was hot in there, at least at Deming they had a big fan to circulate some air.

I was there for the evening games was hot then too. Most of the parents make the kids work in the fields here, that usually wips them into shape too.

If you been inside with the AC like I've been for a long while, It'll ruin yea. So I started playing some games outside with my nephew and his friends from Dover.
