Former Johnson Central Player at UK

Very nice article by the ADI focusing on former Johnson Central lineman Tristan Salyer (Class of 2015 at JC) and his journey onto UK's current football team. This was printed in Sunday's paper (9-27-'15) and gives unique insight into how Matney's players feel about him and the JC program. Very good read if you get the chance.

Great read. Congrats to the young man and I hope he gets to see some time on the field as his time at UK progresses.

Likewise. Most true Freshman redshirt their first year in the SEC so perhaps he can improve and earn playing time in the future. If he sticks with it, I dont see why he cant get minutes as an upperclassman. As the article stated, the line coach sought him out. Must have seen something in the young man!
