Long time 2nd region basketball referee passed away this week after a long fight with colon cancer. Prayers go out to his family. Services Saturday in Cadiz, Ky.

Prayers for the family. I did not know him, but those who work in and around basketball are an extended family and we have lost one of our own.

He was a great man and will be missed, called games for over 25 years. He was the starting center on the Trigg Co. State tournment team in 1970 and was a miniture Wes Unseld. He was a gentle giant and was well respected in his home town of Cadiz!
