"The Revenant" - Due In Theaters On Christmas

New western-esque movie starting Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy, based around the lives of a several famous frontiersmen/trappers from the early 19th century. DiCaprio's character, Hugh Glass, was particularly notable for once being left for dead by his hunting party after lying unconscious for days as a result of being mauled by a bear. Without any supplies or weapons, Glass came to and crawled over 200 miles with a broken legs and severe lacerations to his torso through the South Dakota wilderness to the nearest fort.

 

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who has previously directed Birdman, Babel, and 21 Grams, wrote and directed this one.

 

I've been looking forward to it for about 9 months now. The cinematography from the trailer looks pretty interesting...intense.
