groinpull
Colonels struggled to finish some chances in the first half but were still up 1-0 at half time. They settled down and stuck 4 more in the net in the second half to win comfortably against an unbeaten East Central team. Thiemann, Litzler, Lamb, Ghazala and Wessels with goals. Lot of possession for CCH that wore East Central down on a warm day. East Central had a few chances but I don't believe they put a shot on frame all day. Tough matchup for CCH vs. Elder on Tuesday. I believe Elder is either #1 or #2 in Cincy right now coming off a 4-0 victory vs. Sycamore.

groinpull
JV was a 1-0 win I believe by CCH but should have been a bit larger margin. JV team is playing very well.
colonel-fan
Now the most important question: Did the EC fans try to set up chairs along the field?
groinpull
Now the most important question: Did the EC fans try to set up chairs along the field? No, but they did bring their rolling drink coolers right through the front gate and into their fan section. I'll say this, they travel with a big contingent of fan........and complain a lot. Oldtimebaseball84
Agree with GP that the Colonels really controlled the entire game. It was a tale of two halves for scoring though... I believe the 1-0 first half lead was from an own goal. Not sure of the official scoring, but a shot hit the post and deflected out, going away from the goal. It hit a defender running towards the goal and went in..... Second half, was attack and control by the Colonels and they were able to clear the bench and keep the clean sheet. All starters, including the GK were out with 10 left.
