We released our 10th Region Preseason Super Six on air tonight. Tell us what you think:

MoCo is always solid and reloads well year-to-year. The Indians bring back decent numbers, including 2nd team All-State forward Caswell Fuller and strike-partner Alex Schkrabba.

 

Brossart and Scott could flip flop. Scott loses a fair amount including Treadway and Schneider, but returns CJ Seay in goal and Devin Morgan in midfield. Experience from last year's run to the finals will help others who return. Who else on Scott will step up big this year (Trenkamp, others)?

 

Brossart always seems to field an very good team as well and while they lose Paulin in goal their defense should be sold again this fall. Who do we look for in particular on Brossart?

 

Campbell County brings back Colton Schneider and Grant Perkins in midfield and pacey Rob Augspurger up top. Joe Wilbur should be solid in goal, taking over from his older brother. A young Camels defense will need to pull it together though if they are to do well.

 

Don't know much about GRC. Strong GK in Chandler Gaunce. Best field player also Chandler Gaunce? Will he stay in goal or maybe play the field?

It was close between Campbell and Paris for my #6 . Basically gave the nod to Paris because they returned more. I feel Pendleton returning everyone gives them enough to be in the discussion. Also, it keeps my listeners interested!

 

I'm by no means a soccer expert...just giving my very amateur opinion. Now when football/basketball rolls around, I'm much more solid.
