Robert Smith pitched an excellent 1 hit shut-out agains the bobcats. The game lasted 6 innings and he only threw 77 pitches with 10+ strikeouts. The Owls hit the ball well and had no errors on the field.

As this game illustrates, the Owls are playing great in the region if one discounts the losses in the 56th district. They are undefeated to the region teams outside their district, but haven't won any games in the 56th. They have a chance to break the ice Tuesday with a double-header with Estill County. The 56th is just extremely tough to win in, with 3 of the top 4 teams in the region (imo), and possibly 4 of the top 5 if one considers Owsley County.
