Boucher
Ryan Sams picks up the win, coming in relief of starter Sean Evans in the top of the 5th. Game was tied until the bottom of the 5th, when Sean Evans hit a bases loaded double, scoring 3 runs. Whitley threatened in the top of the 7th, scoring 2 runs on an errant NL throw. But in the end, Sams heat was too much for Whitley. Nice combination of pitching for NL: Evans with the offspeed, and Sams closing with the heat. NL wins the 7th in a row. Good Luck this weekend Jags in the Diamond Classic!
MountainThunder
Another big win for the Jaguars. I am surprised that McWhorter used his top 2 pitchers in the same game but it looks like it was effective holding Whitley, a team averaging nearly 9 runs per game, to only 3 runs.
