Baby Birds win 7-1 over SK in their last regular season game. Well played game by the Birds with only one error. Adam Uhlenbrock earned the win in 4 2/3rds innings. Tanner Juett came in relief and closed the deal.

SK threw 4 different pitchers. Gangwhich #5 started on the bump and the kid throws hard but had a little trouble with control. Capp pitched 2 innings followed by Johnson and closed by Black.

Baby Birds overall hit very well today but couldn't get a 2 out hit. They stranded quite a few runners. Bryce Ziegler was 4-5 on the day. Hit a bomb in the 1st inning scoring 2 runners. Finished up with 3 RBI's. Ryan Adkins had 2 RBI's. Cole Kendle with 1 RBI. Overall they hit the ball hard today.

S/O to Baby Birds outfield! Played great defense with 2 diving catches and made everything else look easy.

Birds and SK have a chance to meet again in the Frosh regional semi's. Baby Birds open up with NewCath Wednesday evening at Moerscher Field at 5 pm with a play in game. Good Luck Birds!

Zeigler is going to be a very good player for the Birds sooner rather than later. Only an 8th Grader as well.

Kid is an athlete. Is he still playing football? A linebacking core w/ him and Huddleston sounds painful.

I would imagine he is but I think he could be a really good QB. He has a gun for an arm and a good head about him.
