In the championship game in the Reid Rizzo Memorial Tournament, Highlands erases early 2-0 and 4-1 deficits as the bats get going late. Birds had 17 hits in the win. SR Todd Ramey ends it in the bottom of the 6th with a towering home run over the left center field fence at LaSalle.

 

SR Joseph Martin was 6-6 in the 2 games with 2 doubles and 2 walks.

 

JR Rick Raisor ups his record to 5-0 with the complete game effort.

 

Highlands moves to 16-4 on the season.

 

Grove City, a school of approximately 2000 students south of Columbus, has several solid hitters in their lineup.
