Holmes is hosting the Round robin Tournement this weekend.

 

In the first game Ludlow gets a 9 to 6 win over Holy Cross.

 

In game two, as the rain started both teams exchanged leads early, every pitch the pitchers would need a new softball, both teams braved the rain and the mud, for a sloppy field, both teams played pretty much error free. Very impressed with Holmes infielders.

Thanks to some timely hitting in the last inning and some nice defense by Cooper third baseman Katylin Lake, Cooper hangs on for a 10 to 8 win. The tournement was then canceled to next Saturday, feel for the Bulldog staff who works very hard every year to put this on, and it seems to rain. Best of luck to all the teams in the Bash.

In game one, Courtney Turner (Indians' soph SS) blasted a 2-run home run as HC tried to mount a late comeback. Congrats on her first (non-inside-the-park) HR.
