The Bishop Brossart Lady 'Stangs took care of business in Taylor Mill, Ky tonight beating Scott in 5 innings 11-0 to earn the Number One seed in the post season 37th District Tournament.

In the first inning Amanda Lloyd doubled and then scored on two wild pitches. They added two more in the second as Kaitlyn Seiter walked and then came home on a long Macy Griffin triple. Griffin then scored on a Riley Orth single. They tacked on seven more in the third as Amanda Graus and Lloyd reached base twice with Graus recording two steals in the same inning. They added a final run in the fifth.

Even though I'm a Camel fan, I'll be pulling for yall. I've always been a big fan of going for your rival if it doesn't affect your team. I figure if Bishop Brossart kicks butt, it could spark some young soccer player to cross over to the darkside(softball) at least in Alexandria. Good luck
