I was told that 6th graders were going to be able to get grand fathered in, but didn't realize any teams did it. I know a very good 6th grader that has been with Boones coaches for select, and supposedly the coaches couldn't get a ruling if she could play and they didn't want to take a chance on ruining a season over a potentially ineligible player. Anyways, I was under the impression that neither the coaches nor player are loosing any sleep over it. So, I wonder if Coach Morgan had any hold up with the 6th graders. Then again, maybe I misunderstood and 6th graders could tryout.

 

Boone was told they have to be on a roster which this player was, but she wasn't on the state roster like the 6th grade catcher from SK. We are very frustrated by not hearing anything back but she has been able to keep up and will play for Xplosion 12U this year.

There's one team in this group that's already beaten 5 of the other top 10 teams, all on their home fields and is undefeated in the Greater Cincinnati area. Any guesses?

 

The good thing is no one votes on who wins districts and region.

There are definitely some teams that deserve everyone's attention. Completion is very close this year in the ninth region.

Waiting....could be interesting just depends on which 5 and what other teams they have beaten in greater Cincinnati.???

They have beaten Highlands, New Cath, Dixie, Brossart, and Simon Kenton (granted SK pre-season) all on the road.

Others played: Ludlow, Lloyd, CCA, Fayetteville-Perry, Beechwood, Dayton, and South Dearborn (IN).
