For people that think it means nothing, Atheists certainly act like they are threatened by any symbol of religion.

^ I agree! Why fight against something you don't believe exists? They seem to spend a lot of attention on God for people who don't believe.

Every living thing on earth knows there is a god. Some have chosen to turn their back on that fact and want to take your ability to acknowledge that away from you so they can feel good about what they have decided. Misery loves company.
