Final from Brooksville.

 

This was definitly a pitching duel. Hamiliton was perfect for 4 1/3. Had 5 K's. Errors plauged the Polar Bears resulting in the 2 Pendleton runs. Hunter Lea took over on the mound in the 6th and 7th for Pendleton and faced 7 batters walking 1 and striking out 6.

 

Bracken only run came on a walk to Engnes, who stole 2nd and 3rd and then scored on a throwing error by the PC catcher.

 

J. Smith pitched well for the wildcats not giving up an earned run over 5 innings of work and pitched out of a couple jams.

All you need is good pitching, a good catcher and good defense. All that will win 9 out of 10 games in high school or middle school baseball
