April 7, 201511 yr 4th straight ACC sweep for the Cards (according to the announcers on ESPNU). Josh Rogers was in control with very high 1st pitch strike % and got some defensive gems behind him to blank UVa and sweep the important Top 10 (at least when the series began on SAT) road ACC series. Bullpen was solid (Lincoln Hentzman? in the 8th and Zack Burdi throwing BBs in the 9th). UofL squandered some early chances to blow the game wide open, but ended up with enough runs thanks to 7+ from Rogers. Interesting stat - Cards have won 121 straight games when leading after 8 going back to 2012. That streak will get broken at some point, but it is quite a record and a testament to some very strong closers (many named Burdi) over the past 3 yrs.
April 7, 201511 yr I don't know when the other shoe is going to drop on this thing, but this pitching staff has been nothing short of amazing. Since dropping the second game of the league-opening series against Miami, Louisville has won 13 consecutive ACC games.
