SK won their first game 5-1 beating Boone County in Freshman ball. Lance McAllister son was the pitcher. His son Casey has battled cancer I believe. It is pretty cool he is playing baseball. Last night SK beat Scott 13-2 with some good pitching from from 8th grader Brenan Gangwish.

Thanks for the clarification. I enjoyed being a part of an army of prayer warriors while Casey battled cancer and won. Warms my heart to know he is growing, learning, and having success a mongst his peers. Best wishes and continued success to Casey and his teammates, except of course when they play Dixie Heights!

Say it aint so SK1fan but this is the second thread you've started within the last couple months I have liked. You turning over a new leaf or what?

Good to hear young Casey got to pitch an inning.

Tough for Lance to have to do his show and miss it.
