Lawrence County last appeard in the regional championship in 2009 (lost to Shelby Valley) and Sheldon Clark last appeared in the regional championship in 2013 (Lost to Johnson Central). One of these teams will make a return trip. Earlier in the season LC beat SC on the road by 19 (Chase Parsley did not play).
