Estill County at Lafayette Predictions

Season opener for Estill County....Lafayette plays Berea the night before.

 

 

2004 was the last time these two met with Lafayette winning 10-0. Estill is 1-2 against the Lady Generals since 2002.

I don't know much about Lafayette or Estill this year so it would be a Pure guess. I will go with Estill:idunno:

We played Lafayette 2 years ago in Florida on Spring Break. It was a tight game, they ended up beating us by 3. They were ranked about 11 or so in the State at that time, their pitching wasn't overpowering, but their baserunning was excellent!

Estill should be solid again this season. They do lose Gross who was the star pitcher from last season but they have a junior that is just as good in McKeely Muncie. They lost some of the power that they had last year and past 3 years in Rawlins but Estill has a lot of speed and with former Baseball Coach Danny Wood joining the staff, they could be even more dangerous.
