Featured Replies

Who are the best soccer players for 2006 in the 16th region? South Laurel lost some awfully good players, but still bring back a lot of talent.

Are you sure that South Laurel is in the 16th because I'm pretty sure their not.

I was told that South Laurel (region winner the past 2-3 years straight), only brings back 10 players who actually dressed with the varsity last year. North Laurel, who has been down for the past several years, apparently brings back several young players (a lot of frosh/sophs were varsity last year) and picked up another good player in the past week who will help them out.

I know that Perry Central had a great season, losing to South in the region, but they scored a TON of points in 2005 and think they lost several good players.

What is Corbin looking like this fall? I believe they lost Trey Monaco and some other solid players, but I am not sure what they are bringing back in 2006.

The soccer alignment has no relation to the basketball alignment.

That always confused me as well. With the schools that are adding soccer, this may change in the future. But for now, this is way it lines out!!! :thumb:
