oldrambler Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I certainly am not a UNC / Roy Williams fan by any stretch of the imagination. Having said that I will say that Roy Williams having his UNC Tarheel team run Dean Smith's famed "Four Corners" offense on their first offensive possession was Absolute Class. What a fitting and emotional tribute to one of the greatest coaches in the history of college basketball. UNC topped it off by scoring on a back door layup off of the set.Dean Smith was an innovator, introduced several things that hadn't been done in college bb and not to mention what a great man that coach Smith was. SO ....Should there be any UNC Fans on bgp .....:thumb: to your coach. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/12358795/north-carolina-tar-heels-honor-dean-smith-running-four-corners-play No. 15 UNC honors Smith with Four Corners, tops Georgia Tech
JJD Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 That was awesome - throw back unis worn too. Roy was emotional (nothing new) during the game and in the presser afterward.
