Has more of a history than that. He was an assistant for a while at Calloway, got out of it for a bit....came back to take over the MS. Might have more, but I those I do know.

 

Ironically, their cross town rival took a similar approach back in 08. Murray hired Steve Duncan, who before going to Lone Oak in 07 as their DC had taken a step back for a while.....he had been the MS HC at Etown for a few years, and had even had some years there where he had gotten out of it altogether (might have volunteered in some capacity, but taken a step back nonetheless).

 

Worked out well for Murray High.

Ton of athletes at Murray High. Always has and always will. He had a team one year in 2010 got beat by Owensboro Catholic. That team should of won the championship.
