Pikeville wins behind the pitching of Justin Anderson. Both teams made numerous errors but both will be a force to be reckoned with by tourney time.

The Panthers had alot of chances to score runs today. Three times they left the bases loaded without scoring a run. Anderson pitched well. The Watkins kid pitched okay for the Tigers in relief.

 

I wonder why they didn't pitch Van Hoose.

This was a great game to watch and both teams had their chances to pull away. Typical Pikeville vs. Painstville game and I expect to see both again in the Regional. I think this quite possibly could be a preview of the Regional Final in May. Good luck to both squads. Go Panthers.
