Ryle 47 Turpin 44 (OT)

Featured Replies

Final from Union tonight. Sluggish and physical game at times. Credit to scrappy Turpin team that never quit, hitting a 3 close to buzzer to send it to OT and quickly taking the lead in OT...credit to the Lady Raiders for stepping up in the 4th and OT to hang on for the win. Ryle has 8 Ws of the last 10 games and faces a tough test Friday night when Holmes comes to Union.

Congrats Ryle! It doesn't seem that long ago when there was some "rumblings" about coaching. Sounds like all we needed was some patience. Glad those girls got things going on! Keep it up Ryle!

I am glad the Ryle girls are having some success, too, TS, but dont get the idea that it is to the coach's credit, sadly. The starting 5 pulled out a nice victory in the final quarter and OT against a decent team last night, but this game was like many others this season where the fans look at each other in puzzlement as perplexing coaching decisions unfold thru much of the game. Although Ryle came out sluggish tonight, you can credit the girls for pulling out that win and some others. Yes, Ryle fans have needed a lot of patience, you are right!

The rumblings are still happening in Union, but I would say that most Ryle fans are trying to keep a happy face for the girls , keep them motivated, and not bring any more negativity into the situation.

Hoping the Raiders, the entire team! can get working together and play the game they are capable of against Holmes and others in the next weeks. They have a lot of tools for success if they are used and if the girls don't give up.

Well, hate to hear that. Still glad they are having some success though!

I have watched that group of Juniors since they were in 5th and 6th grade. They all have worked very hard and have improved their game so much over the years.

Hopefully, they can keep things in the win column :thumb:
