Union county didn't seem to have their legs in this one after having played a double overtime game the night before. Union county is however making progress, there is a world of difference between the first game they played this season until now.

 

As for the Carlisle County fans.....all I can say is wow :no:

I went to the game where Union defeated Trigg in double overtime. First, Union should have won the game in regulation. Trigg didn't have a lot of energy in the game but took a 2 point lead with 2 seconds left. Second, Trigg should have won the game in regulation. LOL Union ran the baseline and got the foul called. Kid hit the two free throws to send it into overtime. I thought then, Union will struggle with Carlisle. Unless your blessed with a very good team with depth, 3 games in a week is tough.

Both teams had this game numerous times and neither one could finish it off for a win. I'm not sure Union County even plays with Trigg County if this game was played early in the year.

It is very hard to play three in a week especially playing the next night after a double overtime game. In the Trigg game Union's #21 Robison sprained his ankle at the beginning of the third quarter, limped around the rest of the game and the two overtimes but came alive and scored the last seven points of the game with two 3's, got fouled on the second one and made the free throw for the 4 point play for the final score. That kid deserves a lot of credit.
