Jeffersontown seems to be pulling it together giving both Fern Creek and Doss very competitive games since a disappointing beginning. In particular Jeffersontown looked out of sync during the Holiday tournament at Eastern, but with Brandon Johnson on the court they have one of the best scorers in Jefferson County. The question is will anyone else step up to help?

 

Western is within the Top 10 teams of the 6th region and would appear to have the edge in this one, especially at home. This could turn into a very close game if Jeffersontown continues to show their potential as they have recently.

After the fact (Jtown lost this game), Jtown does not have the fundamentals necessary to be competitive. Johnson has to do too much for this team. They are going to be hurting next year unless transfers or guys step up and work on their game.

If Johnson's shot isnt falling Jtown has no chance to win. He was heating up in the 4th q and hit a 3 to tie the game up with about a minute left. But after that his teammates didnt even look for him. They took it upon there selves and either missed, got their shot blocked or turned it over. Johnson should have the ball in his hands 90% of the time especially late in close games.

 

Every point they scored in the 4th q was either Johnson scoring or off an assist by Johnson. The offense should go through him. Not sure why they dont look for him more.
