Both teams played at a snails pace which allowed Ludlow to jump out to a lead thanks to Bellevue's 1st half shooting woes. Ludlow played zone and Bellevue could not get a good shot off. Bellevue shot 3's that were never close. Warndorf played stellar defense in the middle shutting down the inside game for Bellevue. Warndorf 10 and Hussien 6 combined for 16 rebounds and controlled the boards.

Bellevue started the second half with a strong press and cut the lead to two points in the third quarter. From there the teams traded a few baskets and Ludlow extended the lead to seven forcing Bellevue to foul late in the game.

 

Nice win for Ludlow but Holy Cross is waiting in the next round.
