15th Slammer Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Nice game for the Hornets. Looks like it didn't hurt the basketball players that play softball.

sportsfan4ever Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Yes. The softball team has 6 starters that played on the basketball team. They came back from Bowling Green on Sunday and played their first softball game on Monday then Tuesday , Thursday and Friday without a practice and now they have for big WINS marked down. Way to go Hornets.

Way to go Hornets. It is nice to see the girls playing both sports. I wish you could see it more often. Perhaps someone could start a thread on Female two/three sport contributers (Stars if you like). I know Sally Roberts at SV plays soccer, basketball, softball, and runs track (3 events I believe). Softball is new to her, but she is quickly learning how to play the game.
