Eli Wright led the Eagles with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Braxton Beverly led all scorers with 27. 15 of his 27 came in the 4th quarter.

Apollo looked real good in the first half. I feel like when they can get their offense running they are a much better team. They became real stagnant in the 2nd half and did not look sharp. Tons of missed layups and easy buckets for Apollo down the stretch. This team is frustrating to watch at times because the potential is there, but they just haven't put things together yet. I feel like this game should not have been this close.

Watching these two kids play against one another was fun. It reminded me of the old tournaments at Lexington Catholic.
