Just wanted to congradulate Dan Penick of Ludlow for being named a McDonalds All American. Had a great career at Ludlow with over 1,000 points and rebounds. Good luck at Wright State! The Raiders got a great player.:thumb:

A McDonalds All-American?

 

I don't think so....a finalist in KY is probably more like it...

If I'm not mistaken, Dan Penick was one of the 1,500 males in America nominated by the McDonald's All American Basketball Team Selection Committee. I don't believe he was selected as one of the 24 McD's All Americans that will participate in San Diego.

Just to make it official, the state of KY has zero players in the Mickey D's All-American game, and the state of Ohio only has 1 player. That one player is Dayton Dunbar's Daequan Cook -- the AAU teammate of Oden and Conley.
