TAC
Brossart up 10 at half and folded like a chair at a church picnic. TrImpe lit it up from behind the arc in the second half.
Dozer61
Brossart up 10 at half and folded like a chair at a church picnic. TrImpe lit it up from behind the arc in the second half. Not sure I would phrase it that way. But definitely a tale of two halves. 1st half saw Brossart pack the box running a 3-2 defense that made it difficult for the Lady Eagles to get to the basket. Unfortunately, shots from the perimeter were not dropping either. In the 2nd half Brossart's post players seemed to fatigue a little allowing Scott to snag a few more rebound put backs. In addition Scott's perimeter shooting came back around and the tide turned. Once Scott was in the lead Brossart was forced into man defense as well as fouling as time ticked down allowing Scott to pull away.

I believe Brossart had a post player not start due to ankle that may of had some lingering effects and impacted Coach Feldman's rotation. Scott shot lights out 2nd half no doubt.. Sydney Shannon did not start for Brossart due to a bad ankle, it was her first game back. Only had 2 points but had 8 boards. Didn't think Brossart looked fatigued but Scott was miserable in the first half from behind the arc and made up for it in the second half. TrImpe is shooting 50% from long range this year. Wish I still had the game stats to point out the shooting difference in the 2 halves.
