The Professor
Owsley County had a 6 point lead but Hazard hit two 3 pointers in the last 30 seconds of the 4th quarter to tie the game. Then the Bulldogs inbounded the ball with about 2 second remaining and scored to win at the horn. Owls almost pull off a big road win.
The Professor
I wasn't at this game but posted what I was told in a text from someone who was listening to it on the radio. But I've since learned that there was only 0.7 seconds on the clock, not 2 seconds, when Hazard inbounded the ball. The inbound pass by Hazard was deflected against the backboard by an Owsley player, then rebounded by a Hazard player who took it back up and made the shot. That much action would surely use 0.7 seconds off the clock well before the winning shot was taken and made.....IF....the clock was turned on when the Owsley player first deflected it against the backboard. At least it would seem that way to me.
