December 12, 201411 yr Big Slick: I was playing in a little hold em tournament we play in every Thursday and as players fall out a little cash game always starts up. I hadn't played TONK in forever, but was wondering if you've ever played it?
December 12, 201411 yr Author I used to play some in college but not much anymore. A few of the old guys play while waiting for our cash games to start. Many variations of that game plus there are many ways to cheat, etc. So be careful. Haha

December 13, 201411 yr Author A few variations of tonk I have seen over the years. Some play that if someone plays on a spread that holds them from going down for a round. Some play if you get 49 or 50 on the deal is automatic winner and some places pay 50 double. Different games pay differently if you go down and lose also.
