This wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be between these 2 teams. The Lady Eagles dominated from the start. I figured since these 2 teams played great against Ryle they'd be an even match, but that wasn't the case. Scott's Kallmeyer & Tapp gave Conner fits all night hitting around the block & driving the ball into every gap Conner left open. Just an all-around smart offensive team tonight. Scott's only weakness tonight was blocking, but the hitting & serving more than made up for that!! They're a fun team to watch play because they work so well as a team. Congrats to the Lady Eagles & looking forward to the September Slam this weekend!!

The Lady Eagles are playing well, however, take nothing away from Conner. They have some great talent and a couple of solid hitters. While the scores reflect dominance, they were the result of several great rallies that saw both teams making great saves. Hats off to the Lady Cougars and congrats to the Lady Eagles.

Losing 2 straight to Scott kind of takes the shine off of Conner pushing Ryle a little bit.

I think there's a logjam of teams in the middle of the pack that are hard to get a read on becuase they all play each other and there's no one team dominating . . .
