Final. Good win for the Tomcats. Raceland played sloppy and threw, if I recall, three picks and had a few balls on the ground. Rams looked very sloppy offensively but the defense looked good during the second half, shutting the Tomcats out. Great competitive game all the way through the fourth when the Rams had a chance to win it, instead, throwing a pick.

Congrats to the Tomcat JV. Young Rams need to concentrate more, this is why that there are JV games. They will be fine, no doubt about that.

The Rams definitely came out asleep. The game started at 11am, an unusual time for the Rams' JV to play on a Monday, but regardless of the time, it is still a ball game. Come out each and every time the same way. It's a football game, whether it's at 8am or 8pm. Approach it the same way.

 

On the other hand, I saw some good things from the defense. Played hard on the second half and shut the Tomcats out. Excited to see Jared Manis in a year when he gets varsity reps. Played excellent at the DE position.
