I understand the JV Rocks dropped this one 36-34 after trailing 21-0 early. I do not know any of the particulars. The score was reported by the Momma Rocks on Facebook.

Looked like Trinity had a hard go of it in the first quarter. Freshman Qb didn't practice with this group all week and it showed -- the timing was off. Defense looked a little flat and got outplayed leading to a 21-0 deficit. Sophomore Qb came in to start the second quarter and, with the wind, energized the team and got the offense going. He completed some big passes that opened up the running game. Great comeback actually taking the lead late in the fourth. Unfortunately the defense could not hold on and lost with 15 seconds left. Defensively Trinity played well at times but allowed some big plays, especially passes, that prevented the win. Seemed to me the scoring, from both teams, came to the team having the wind. I am sure there were lessons learned from this game and the coaches will make some adjustments going into next weeks contest. Go Rocks!!
