Lady Legends drop the 2nd pool game to the Greensboro Galaxy Gold 34-45.

In spite of early foul trouble that saw Boo Kallmeyer pick up 3 fouls in less than 3 min into the game the Lady Legends rebound from yesterdays loss to dominate the Jersey Fusion Elite 58-27.

How did they finish?

Lost in the semi-final game to the WV North Stars. Frustrating game to watch. Legends were in foul trouble early with Boo Kallmeyer again having 3 fouls within the first 3 min of the game and Gulley having 3 just before halftime. North Stars had a player that was literally laying the ball over the front edge of the rim (would have been a beautiful thing to watch if she had played for the Legends). The game was kept within 4 pts until the last 2 min of the game when the early foul trouble came back to bite them.

 

Overall the girls played hard and look to have a great showing at AAU Nationals next week in Mason.
