Congrats to the Crusaders who advance to play Highlands in the Freshmen Championship at SK tomorrow evening. Dixie handed the game to St. Henry via 7 infield errors, 4 in the sixth inning was the difference. 8th grade hurler for Dixie was solid and only had one walk.

James very alertly headed to third on the bunt as the third baseman had charged. Throw from the first baseman to the backpedaling third baseman is errant and James goes in to score. 1-0 DH

#24 Nick reaches base via a 1 out error and #12 is used as a courtesy runner. The next batter (#6 Brad) hit a groundball to Dixie's third baseman. His throw to first gets past the first baseman and down the right field line, moving the runners to 2nd and 3rd. Next batter #33 Blake reaches via a FC when he hits a groundball to third that is bobbled then throw to home too late to get the runner. 1-1

#10 Max reaches via a two out error. He then steals second base. #42 Michael hits a line drive to RF and the throw to the plate is late. 2-1 SH

Guenther reaches via a 1 out single. Courtesy runner James steals second and then moves to third via a balk. Barrett executes a perfect squeeze bunt with two strikes to bring James in. 2-2

#24 Nick leads off with a double to the RC gap (#12 courtesy runner). #6 Brad lays down a sacrifice bunt. The throw by the pitcher is too high for the second baseman who was covering 1B. #12 scores on the error and Brad goes to second. The RF throws the ball into 3B but the throw gets past and Brad ends up on third. #33 Blake comes to the plate and hits a groundball to third, runner stays at 3B but ball is bobbled and it's 1st and 3rd. Blake steals second and the catcher's throw goes into CF allowing Brad to score and moves Blake to third on the throw home. #25 Brady lays down a squeeze and the throw by the third baseman to first is offline, Blake scored. 5-2 SH
