Bluespecter
Brossart struck first by scoring one in the first, taking advantage of a fielding error and giving Anstead the opportunity to score the lead off with a base hit to right. The Lady Stangs increased their lead by scoring another run in the top of the third. In the fourth, Lady Bear first baseman, Makenzie Jefferson hit a shot to right center to clear the loaded bases, landing her on 2nd base and giving Lady Bears the 3-2 lead. Brossart tied it again in the fifth, but Bracken struck again in the 6th, plating a pair of runs. This would be enough as Lady Stangs offense was unable to produce any base runners in their last at bat. This game was a nail biter, just as I expected it to be. It was a far more competitive game than the final game...with no disrespect to Nicholas
