7th Region baseball trivia

This is unbelievable, but the answer to the question "How many state championships have Ballard, Trinity, Male, and Eastern won in baseball since 1944?" is ZERO!

Indeed, the only current 7th Region team to win a state championship in baseball since 1963 is St. Xavier -- one in 1981.

Given the quality of players in that region, you would think that some more banners would have been hung.

Eastern has never won a single 7th Region title.

That is hard to believe. Ballard, Trinity, and Male have a combined five state runner-up trophies, though.

It is very early, but I believe the 7th Region has a strong state championship contender in St. X this year. Male is also up there.
